Our shop is in Rochester, PA, north-west of the city.
That puts the whole Pittsburgh metro inside a comfortable drive, plus Butler, Washington, Westmoreland and the rest of Beaver County.
Outside it, call anyway. For multi-bay commercial work we will usually make the trip.
The city, the South Hills and the northern suburbs. Most of our work lands here.
North of the city, up 79. Newer slabs and big three and four-car garages.
South of the city, along 79. Peters and McMurray are steady work for us.
East of the city. We batch jobs out here to keep drive time down.
Home turf. The shop is in Rochester, so this is our shortest drive.
The floor we install is the same everywhere. What we find under it is not.
Pre-1960 slabs, often thin and poured without a vapor barrier. More crack repair, more moisture readings that come back marginal, more prep hours in the quote.
Hillside lots and sloped driveways. We carry a heavier aggregate grade out here for wet traction, and we turn down more driveways than anywhere else because of slab movement.
Newer construction, flatter and sounder slabs, bigger three and four-car garages. Usually the cleanest prep and the fastest installs we do.
High water tables. Basement moisture readings matter more here than anywhere else in the metro, and we quote a vapor-mitigating primer more often than not.
The one most people start with. Diamond-ground, full-flake, done in a day.
Resurface instead of tearing out. UV-stable, textured, freeze-thaw rated.
Forklift traffic, dust control and line striping for working floors.
Seamless, slip-resistant and easy to keep clean.
Apparatus bays built for heavy trucks, water and diesel.
March through June is the busiest window across all five counties. Booking in winter usually means weeks, not months.
Travel, pricing by distance, commercial work and how soon we can get to you.
About 50 miles from Pittsburgh, which covers Allegheny, Butler, Washington, Westmoreland and Beaver counties. No travel fee inside that radius.
Probably. The list covers where we work most, not the edge of the map. Call (412) 873-4406 with your ZIP and we will give you a straight answer, including if the answer is no.
Not inside the radius. The price is the price. Past it, we will tell you before we quote, not after.
Yes, and we travel further for it. A multi-bay shop or a warehouse is worth a longer drive in a way that a single-car garage is not.
It depends more on the season than the distance. Winter is weeks; spring is longer. Ask at the assessment and you will get a real date, not a guess.
